| Air Transport Colloquium |

 The Department of Transport and Regional Economics of the University of Antwerp will host a one-day international Air Transport Colloquium on Friday 11 December 2009, under the theme ‘Potential strategies to solve the air transport crisis’.
The colloquium focuses on the impact of the current economic and financial crisis, the challenges that face the air transport sector, and the re-action patterns of the different actors.
Invited colloquium speakers are affiliated to academic re-search institutes, airlines, air-ports, airport service provid-ers and authorities/governments.
The day concludes with a panel discussion with all im-portant market players and conference participants. All attendants are invited to ac-tively participate in the discus-sion. During the lectures and panel discussions, ample op-portunity shall be provided for interaction between the speakers and the audience.
This colloquium is intended for all actors involved in the passenger and freight trans-port business, as well as for academic researchers and consultants active in the sec-tor.
