"Totally delighted . . . just unbelievable.” That’s how a delighted Nick Lefever, general manager of supply chain at Telefonica O2 UK, described his response to the news that his company was Overall Winner of the 2009 European Supply Chain Excellence Awards in November.
Telefonica joins an illustrious list of winners of Europe’s most prestigious supply chain award: Dell, Sainsbury’s, Vodafone, Cisco Systems, Coca Cola, Marks & Spencer and GlaxoSmithKline.
The 2009 awards broke all records - more entries than ever before, more companies making it to the shortlist, and more people at the Awards dinner than ever before.  
The 2010 event promises to be even more successful with even more entries submitted. The results will be announced at the Awards dinner on Thursday 18th November at London's prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel.
