| XVII International Symposium "Transport Systems 2010" |

Symposium is organized by Croatian Scientific Society for Transport (HZDP), non‐governmental and nonprofit association that is member of European Platform of Transport Sciences. The symposium will be held on 22‐23 April 2010 in Opatija City, picturesque city near Port of Rijeka, where Croatian tourism was born.
Symposium topics include:
‐ Transport systems management,
‐ Transport systems organization,
‐ Business management,
‐ Expert and intelligent systems,
‐ Flexible transport systems,
‐ Logistics,
‐ Optimization and simulation methods,
‐ Maintenance,
‐ Infrastructure,
‐ Environment,
‐ Traffic safety, and
‐ Education.
More than 300 participants from Croatia, neighbouring and other European countries are expected to visit the event. Programme includes about 60 articles ‐ the authors come not only from academic community but from SMEs also.
The symposium is the leading event devoted to modern transport problems and challenges in the region representing a good opportunity for contacts development between transport professionals and other interested in the field of transport.
