The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK) is calling for nominations from across the transport industry for its 2009 Annual Awards for Excellence.  

The Awards recognise achievements and encourage the highest standards and professional approach to the practice of logistics and transport.  Categories cover both individual and corporate achievement, and range through personnel and management skills, operational progress, safety and the environment.

Finalists will be invited to attend a Gala Dinner on Thursday 22 October 2009 where the winners will be announced and the awards presented.  The event itself, held at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, is attended by finalists, sponsors, members and guests and is anticipated as a sell out event with early booking advised.
