Dexion launches the Light Cantilever system, especially designed for the storage light loads which are long and large in size. It was designed as a lighter, simpler, smaller brother to the Dexion cantilever.

In the start of 2010, Dexion launched in Romania its heavy cantilever system to general satisfaction. As the system was launched, the orders started to come both from Romania and from abroad for the new console storage system. The high-strength IPE-profile based design of cantilever proved ideal for heavy, strong, industrial installations, but many customers also requested smaller, simpler systems, easier to adjust and move around.
Thus the Light Cantilever was born, designed with the effectiveness of its larger brother in mind, but with a lighter, simpler approach. After careful planning and testing, the light cantilever has been launched and is now also available in Romania, as part of the Dexion range.
Instead of heavy construction-type IPE profiles like the larger system, the light cantilever uses the uprights for the Premierack pallet racking, known for their high strength and reliability as well as Premierack beams for its bracings. This innovative design leads to a lighter, simpler build, which is easier to install and adjust than the traditional cantilever.
Its lighter design, standard components and ease of transport and installation also translate in lower costs for the light cantilever than a heavy duty version.

The light cantilever can be fitted with accessories, such as end arm stops, for keeping bars and pipes in places. The system is available both in single and double sided versions and can be delivered in either standard blue/orange paint, in other custom colours or with a galvanized finish for outdoor applications.

The light cantilever is suitable for storing long and massive goods with weights which do not exceed 500 Kg per level. If you expect higher loads on your shelving, use our heavy duty cantilever.
