Supply Chain Management Centre together with AFP MKT through www.esupplychain.eu have launched in autumn 2008, at the International Conference of ARILOG the first glossary of logistics and supply chain terms that appeared in Romania, called: "Glosar de termeni de logistica si supply chain".

The research and translation team was led by Adriana Palasan and the technical expertise was provided by Romeo Dumitru (Logistic Manager Henkel).

The Glossary is an useful tool for logistics personnel and not only for them. The purpose of the book was to relate the specialised terms borrowed from other languages with the terms established in time in Romanian language and even clarify some meanings of these ones, used with meanings that differ from a company to another.

The chosen terms are extracted from all the fields of interest of logistics: purchasing, stocks, production planning, warehousing, transport, distribution and customer service.
